Job description

The Analyst role within the Dallas Real Estate Debt Capital Markets team at Goldman Sachs focuses on supporting debt sourcing, structured finance activities, and relationship management for real estate investments. This team is responsible for various debt-related activities, including loan originations, restructuring, and refinancing efforts. The ideal candidate will engage with lenders and strategic partners while managing outstanding debt facilities and monitoring future pipeline reporting. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1 year and above years of related experience in real estate finance and/or loan originations
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial in nature with strong organization and management skills
  • Orientation toward financial markets

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all debt related activities including loan sourcing, execution, and restructurings
  • Coordinate and interact with real estate, portfolio management, legal, and closing teams on structuring investments
  • Provide oversight and management of currently outstanding debt facilities
  • Monitor and maintain future pipeline reporting
  • Work with acquisition and asset management teams during acquisition due diligence
  • Interface with business units to discuss investing opportunities
  • Manage relations with lender relationships and third party debt brokers
