Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or in a related field.
  • Experience working with users to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Experience in risk management at a large financial institution or consulting organization, including liquidity, regulatory, or credit risk.
  • Experience querying and aggregating data from a database and performing trend analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven insights and effective technologies for firmwide risk management.
  • Identify, design, and implement the best means of delivering risk information through narratives, tools, and visualizations.
  • Assist with innovating and designing new analytics and visuals using programming languages and software.
  • Analyze, visualize, and oversee data sets used in risk management and control functions.
  • Perform anomaly detections in large data sets and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with bankers, traders, portfolio managers, risk modelers, and technology teams.
