This role involves joining the Strategy & Corporate Finance practice in New York, working in teams to engage with clients on high-stakes financial and strategic issues. The focus is on providing expert advice in areas such as corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and business due diligence. You will be responsible for analyzing information, formulating hypotheses, and communicating recommendations. The position requires collaboration with client teams to drive impactful change and contribute to the firm's intellectual capital.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or master’s degree and 4+ years of work experience after completing your undergraduate degree.
- 2+ years of strategy, corporate finance, M&A or due diligence experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, accounting firm or major corporation.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
- Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting.
- Communication skills to express complex ideas in English, effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze information to formulate and test hypotheses.
- Develop frameworks to analyze business problems using qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Guide clients through the entire M&A lifecycle and provide fact-based rationale for strategic choices.
- Lead key project workstreams and manage junior colleagues to translate insights into actions.
- Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital by codifying deal learnings and developing M&A frameworks.
