Job description

The Drinking Water & Reuse Professional Engineer role at Jacobs involves working with multi-disciplinary teams to evaluate, optimize, design, and troubleshoot water treatment facilities. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure
  • 10+ years of progressive professional experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering
  • Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, reuse, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies
  • Self-motivated with involvement in professional societies or related activities

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and optimize water treatment facilities to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with local and global technology leaders to produce innovative solutions.
  • Drive the incorporation of emerging technologies into projects.
  • Support business development efforts and pursue new projects.
  • Mentor younger engineers and participate in team building activities.
