As a Cryogenic Assembly Engineer at IBM Research, you will play a crucial role in the quantum development program by assembling, installing, operating, and maintaining complex cryogenic equipment. • High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, including reading assembly drawings and bills of materials.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Experience in operating and/or maintaining cryogenic or high vacuum equipment.

• Assemble, install, operate, and maintain complex cryogenic equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technicians to support the quantum development program.
• Read and understand assembly drawings, bills of materials, and related documentation.
• Ensure the proper operation of cryogenic systems and troubleshoot any issues.
• Contribute to the installation of devices and wiring in cryogenic environments.
