Job description

The Marketing Process Consultant for Media Strategy & Operating Model will act as a strategic advisor to clients looking to modernize their media operations. This role involves assessing current media processes and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and governance. The consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders to align on investment strategies and key performance indicators. The position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience in media strategy, performance marketing, or media operations consulting is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of media processes is essential, even if not hands-on in buying.
  • Experience advising on technology integration such as DSPs and analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess current media planning and buying processes, roles, skills, and organizational structures.
  • Diagnose maturity across measurement, budgeting, media governance, brand safety, and channel planning.
  • Advise on future-state operating models including hybrid or in-house media teams.
  • Evaluate agency models and define vendor optimization strategies.
  • Identify AI opportunities for automated media briefs and budget optimization.
  • Define data, tagging, and measurement foundations required for high-quality media operations.
  • Build actionable roadmaps for transitioning from current to future state with change management.
  • Support senior stakeholders in aligning on investment strategy and KPIs.
