As a Structural Bridge Engineer at Jacobs, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing transportation structures, particularly bridges. • Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia, or obtainable within 6 months
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on bridge design
• Working knowledge of CAD systems, specifically MicroStation
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as MDX, LEAP Bridge, or Larsa

• Perform structural analysis and design for transportation highway projects
• Develop design documentation, calculations, specifications, and reports
• Inspect bridge designs as required
• Collaborate with team members on various bridge design projects
• Apply AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications to transportation structures
