Job description
The Data Center Electrical Engineer role at Google focuses on overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical distribution systems for data centers. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in mission-critical facility design and construction environments.
- Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of utility electrical distribution systems.
- Experience in electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Define data center system-level product architecture and develop operations and maintenance procedures.
- Conduct engineering analysis and research designs for data center equipment and facilities.
- Ensure designs and installations meet operational and structural requirements.
- Collaborate with core teams to develop and manage electrical designs for new data center projects.
- Oversee site-level electrical system issues throughout project execution and resolve issues with cross-functional teams.
