Citi is seeking a highly skilled Python/Generative AI Developer to join their Enterprise Operations & Technology team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying advanced Generative AI models and applications, including sophisticated chat interfaces. The ideal candidate will work on various aspects of the AI lifecycle, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance efficiency within the organization. The position emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while driving compliance and safeguarding the firm's reputation.

• 5-8 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.
• Proven experience with Generative AI models, including hands-on experience with large language models or other generative architectures.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Experience with Google ADK or similar Google AI/ML platforms and SDKs.
• Strong front-end development skills, particularly with React, for building interactive user interfaces.
• Demonstrable experience in implementing chat functionalities, including handling HTTP streaming and asynchronous operations.
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and MLOps practices for deploying and managing AI models.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, and applications development.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process, providing user and operational support on applications.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage.
• Consult with users and other technology groups on issues, recommending advanced programming solutions.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
