Job description
The Associate Test Engineer role at KLA involves working on the testing of new technologies in a collaborative environment. Requirements
- Hands-on experience in electrical component level testing, troubleshooting, and repair is required.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment is necessary.
- Experience with systems development and testing, including formulating system level requirements and test specifications, is essential.
- A Technical Certificate, AS degree, or equivalent vocational training in a technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of related experience is required.
- Prior hands-on experience testing digital and/or analog components and systems is needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.
