Job description

The role involves leading end-of-life component qualification activities and ensuring product reliability and compliance. The team focuses on troubleshooting and resolving system-level challenges in a production environment. Candidates will work closely with suppliers to address component issues and assist in quality improvements. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 0 years with a Master's degree.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software such as SAP ERP, OrCAD, and AutoCAD.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with VBA Macros and AI tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards like ISO 9001 and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-of-life component qualification activities and develop test plans.
  • Troubleshoot and provide maintenance support for system-level challenges.
  • Conduct failure analysis reports and investigations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve component and yield issues.
  • Design and develop fixtures to support production processes.
  • Write procedures to document assembly instructions and production processes.
