Job description
The Audio Engineer is a key technical leadership role within Apple's Worldwide Events and Experiences team, responsible for delivering high-quality live and broadcast audio experiences. This position involves the operation, maintenance, and evolution of audio systems to ensure clarity and reliability during events. The role requires collaboration with technical teams and vendor partners to uphold the highest production standards. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in large-scale productions and a deep understanding of audio systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven experience supporting large-scale productions or performance theaters.
- Demonstrated expertise in theatrical, concert, and event audio mixing.
- Deep knowledge of professional audio systems, signal flow, and system integration.
- Strong understanding of acoustics and audio device selection and placement.
- Experience working directly with executives, presenters, talent, designers, and stagehands.
- Experience with immersive and spatial audio systems.
- Strong understanding of audio networking, including Dante and system design.
- Advanced experience with SSL Live consoles and large-format digital mixing environments.
