Job description
The Camera Silicon Architect role is central to defining the future of imaging for Apple products. The position involves pioneering image sensor architectures that enhance Apple's camera systems. The Camera Silicon Architecture team focuses on developing innovative silicon solutions for various Apple devices. This role requires tackling complex challenges and translating product goals into silicon requirements and algorithmic solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with high performance and low power image sensor architecture design.
- Experience leading the development of image sensing devices or mixed-signal designs.
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related industry experience.
- Experience leading technical initiatives across distributed multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with industry trends and technical challenges for high performance and low power imaging sensors/systems.
- Ability to derive design and verification requirements from design specifications.
- Familiarity with image sensor manufacturing technology and performance metrics.
- Experience with modeling and simulating device/system designs.
- Experience in algorithm development and signal processing data-path design.
- Experience in Matlab, C, Python, or other programming/scripting languages.
