Job description

The NFC Hardware Design Engineer will be part of a talented RF hardware design team focused on developing next-generation NFC solutions. This role involves contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of innovative products that enhance wireless connectivity. The team supports various technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS. The goal is to create groundbreaking wireless systems that improve customer connections with their devices.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree or significant equivalent experience with 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in radio design, preferably in high-volume consumer electronics.
  • Solid understanding of NFC systems, including theory of operation and circuit design.
  • Strong knowledge of RF fundamentals such as Noise Figure and Sensitivity.
  • Hands-on experience with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and lab equipment.
  • Familiarity with modeling tools like SPICE for transformer networks.
  • Moderate soldering skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement next-generation NFC solutions in various product categories.
  • Ensure all aspects of hardware design are addressed, including specifications and manufacturability.
