The MicroDisplay Failure Analysis and Return Material Authorization Engineer at Raxium is responsible for executing electrical debug and failure analysis on electronic display components. This role is part of a team that develops innovative custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. The engineer will work on identifying fault locations in integrated circuits and sub-assemblies, contributing to the improvement of product designs. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with semiconductor devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working with electric circuits, electrical interconnect systems, or electrical schematics.
- 4 years of experience with diagnostic equipment, fault isolation techniques, test methods, and electrical debug for semiconductor devices.
- 4 years of experience working with Python scripting, run diagnostics, test design, data analysis, test automation, failure diagnosis, and failure analysis.
Responsibilities
- Execute electrical debug and failure analysis on electronic display components, sub-assemblies, and products.
- Isolate fault locations in integrated circuits and sub-assemblies.
- Identify mechanisms and root causes for failures to improve product designs and screens.
- Verify and validate integrated circuits and display panels.
- Document failure methods and conclusions for internal and external review.
