The Senior Silicon CAD Tool Developer role at Google focuses on shaping the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration through the development of custom silicon solutions. You will work within a team that drives innovation in TPU technology, impacting Google's AI/ML applications. This position involves leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers while optimizing chip design processes. You will also architect and develop software systems that enhance the chip design lifecycle using AI and Machine Learning.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience working with Computer-aided design (CAD).
• Experience with Python, AI algorithms, front-end development, object-oriented analysis and design, chip design, and data structures.

• Architect, develop, and execute comprehensive EDA CAD tool flows spanning the entire chip design spectrum.
• Research, develop, and deploy AI/Machine Learning models within CAD flows to enhance predictive modeling and automate routing.
• Design and implement both the frontend and backend of novel software systems to streamline complex engineering workflows.
• Partner closely with chip design teams to implement methodologies that optimize Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) and Turn Around Time (TAT) for design cycles.
• Lead technical evaluations of emerging EDA CAD tools and provide data-driven recommendations for adoption.
