Job description

The role is for an Analyst in the SEC Financial Reporting team, which is responsible for preparing the firm's quarterly and annual SEC filings. This team collaborates with various finance teams and departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards and improve reporting efficiency. The position requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage cross-functional projects. The Analyst will play a key role in financial statement preparation and serve as a liaison between different internal departments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, with a CPA preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and a self-starter
  • Proficient in Excel and Word

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of the firm’s quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements filed with the SEC.
  • Interact with various finance teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Lead cross-functional projects related to new accounting standards and reporting processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statement and disclosure review packages.
  • Coordinate quarterly disclosure meetings with stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between LECs, Product Controllers, and other internal departments.
  • Provide guidance to LECs and Product Controllers on quarter-end deliverables.
  • Identify development areas and propose solutions to improve information collection and analysis.
