Job description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will join the Manufacturing team in Henderson, CO, and will lead the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment and systems. This role focuses on driving safe and reliable processes, improving equipment performance, and advancing continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer will also standardize best practices and influence key stakeholders while leveraging cross-functional resources. The position requires a strong technical background in manufacturing engineering and a collaborative approach to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing, industrialization, or capital projects in a production environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment installation and commissioning, process development, capacity analysis, and production readiness activities.
- Experience applying engineering problem-solving and risk management tools such as Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of manufacturing and capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems to improve operational performance and manufacturing readiness.
- Serve as the technical lead for cross-functional project teams, driving risk mitigation, issue resolution, equipment commissioning, and successful project delivery.
- Communicate with and influence external partners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to align decisions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to execute complex project assignments and deliver strong results.
