Job description
Arcadis is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to support the delivery of water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. This role involves contributing to the structural design of critical public infrastructure while developing technical expertise and increasing responsibility in project execution. The engineer will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to create practical and efficient structural solutions for both new design and rehabilitation projects. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 7 years of relevant structural engineering experience
- Experience designing reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry systems
- Experience with water, wastewater, and flood resiliency related projects
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is preferred
- OSHA 10 Hr Training is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for new and existing water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Develop calculations, drawings, and specifications for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry systems.
- Evaluate existing structures and contribute to repair and rehabilitation strategies.
- Take ownership of defined structural design packages and manage scope and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with civil, mechanical, and process teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Prepare construction documents including plans, sections, details, and specifications.
- Support field implementation through submittal reviews, RFIs, and site observations.
- Work directly with contractors to resolve challenges and ensure successful execution of designs.
- Participate in team and client coordination and contribute technical inputs for proposals and project pursuits.
