The Mechanical Field Engineer will work on projects at a data center site in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, collaborating closely with client owners and on-site personnel. This role focuses on mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The engineer will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to both new systems and retrofits of existing ones. The position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering excellence in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• At least 3 years of practical application of mechanical facilities design engineering
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Solid knowledge and application of building codes and related standards

• Review vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications
• Perform field inspections and audits to verify compliance with contract documents
• Track and document non-conformance reports and oversee corrective actions
• Collaborate with contractors and project teams to enforce quality standards
• Support pre-installation meetings, punch lists, and final inspections
