The Embedded Software Development Engineer II (C/C++) role focuses on building the next generation of automation and analytics services for AWS VPC. The team is responsible for enhancing the packet pipeline that supports EC2 VPC instances, ensuring high performance and reliability. This position requires a deep understanding of AWS networking components and back-end software development. The engineer will also work on frameworks for fault detection, data analytics, and visualizations, impacting various teams across EC2.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Responsibilities
- Build scalable frameworks and highly available services for AWS VPC automation
- Automate fault detection and remediation strategies across a large organization
