Citi's global Innovation Labs is seeking a Senior GenAI Platform Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced Generative AI platforms. This role focuses on creating scalable AI solutions primarily using Python, while also utilizing Node.js and TypeScript. The engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of AI capabilities across business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software development and a passion for innovative AI projects.

• 7+ years of experience in the software industry with a strong emphasis on building enterprise software.
• 6+ years of relevant experience developing and implementing scalable platforms using modern libraries and frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex backend solutions and services into production.
• Proven understanding of Generative AI systems and AIOps.
• Experience with cloud architectures and public cloud offerings.
• Strong passion and hands-on experience integrating with AI/ML technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; Master's degree is preferred.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex GenAI platforms using Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Ensure the seamless operation and scalability of AI capabilities across various business units.
• Engage with stakeholders to define and design the overall architecture for key use-cases.
• Drive the deployment of new GenAI products and process improvements.
• Resolve high-impact technical and business problems through in-depth evaluation.
• Provide expert guidance in modern programming and ensure adherence to architectural blueprints.
• Develop and enforce robust coding standards and testing methodologies.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and projects of varying sizes.
• Engage with external vendors for joint initiatives and exploration of new technologies.
• Serve as an advisor and coach to mid-level developers specializing in AI technologies.
• Collaborate with Risk and Control teams to ensure best practices in governance and risk management.
