  • 5+ years of experience supporting Windows operating systems with knowledge in at least four of the core competencies: AD, DHCP, PowerShell, Email workflow, SCCM, SCOM, Windows OS, DNS, and disaster recovery/business continuity.
  • Experience administering and maintaining Active Directory Windows-based networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to script in the Windows environment using PowerShell.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience operating in air-gapped or isolated network environments.
  • Familiarity with ECM/SCCM/MECM for OS deployment and patch management.

  • Experience with AWS CI/CD configurations and pipelines.
  • Understanding of WSUS, PKI/certificate services, or identity management.
  • Experience building monitoring and alerting for Windows services.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Windows infrastructure services across multiple isolated ADC environments.
  • Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and PowerShell automation for service management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service issues across the Windows infrastructure stack.
  • Migrate existing manual operational processes to code-defined, repeatable automation.
  • Define and monitor service health metrics and build alarming for proactive response.
  • Ensure services meet security compliance and hardening requirements.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation including runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor junior team members on Windows infrastructure and automation practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for service-impacting events.

Benefits

  • Employees at Amazon are often offered comprehensive health benefits—including multiple medical plan options (no pre-existing condition exclusions, 100% covered in-network preventive care), dental and vision plans, a 24/7 medical advice line from day one, expert second-opinion services, and broad mental-health support with several free counseling sessions (including pediatric). Financial wellness typically includes a 401(k) with company match (up to 2%), Restricted Stock Units (equity), FSAs, an emergency savings program, product and partner discounts, and even college-savings and home-purchase programs. Overall, the package is designed to support employees and their families’ health, finances, and day-to-day life.
