The Operational Risk Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for applying in-depth knowledge to enhance processes and workflows within the operational risk function. This role involves evaluating complex issues with significant potential impact and requires strong analytical and communication skills. The analyst will also provide governance and oversight, ensuring compliance with regulatory policies. Additionally, they will coach and train new recruits while influencing decisions through expert advice and counsel.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Fraud or AML investigations.
• Knowledge of different lines of business, including USCC and Wealth.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to present a compelling case to influence others.

• Participate in the application of operational risk policies and governance processes.
• Contribute to risk assessments and drive actions to address root causes of operational risk losses.
• Provide governance and oversight for technology operational risk.
• Evaluate the control environment to ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Coordinate audits and deliverable requirements from internal and external reviewers.
• Ensure project completion and compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
• Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
• Assess risk when making business decisions and manage control issues with transparency.
