The Systems Development Engineer II role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focuses on designing and implementing innovative cloud computing solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies. The position is part of the AI/ML U.S. Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team, which delivers secure AI and machine learning solutions in air-gapped environments. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
- 1+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience
- 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver technology solutions to solve difficult business problems.
- Work autonomously on components, applications, and technology solutions.
- Help solve ambiguous problems and architectural deficiencies.
- Participate in design, scoping, and prioritization discussions.
