Global Tax Data is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Tax AI Production Function team. This high-impact role focuses on ensuring the operational health of AI solutions by taking citizen-built tools from development to production. The engineer will review architectures, address AI-specific security requirements, and create technical documentation. This position is foundational in defining operational standards for Tax's AI portfolio and unblocking demand from teams awaiting dedicated production ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Review architectures with original builders and address AI-specific security requirements
- Refactor AI tools for scalability and create a reusable pattern library
- Deploy AI solutions to production infrastructure and configure monitoring and alerting
- Establish incident response runbooks and manage security patching
- Onboard new consuming teams and provide operational health reporting
- Define operational standards for Tax's AI portfolio
