Job description

The Systems Development Engineer will join the AWS Cryptography and Identity team, focusing on building and delivering advanced cloud computing security solutions. This role involves working closely with both internal and external customers to execute projects and resolve technical issues. The engineer will engage in a dev-ops model of service engineering, collaborating with a team of talented professionals to improve customer experiences. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be ready to tackle significant challenges in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java
