As a Software Development Engineer in the S3 Async team at Amazon, you will work on building next-generation services that manage trillions of objects in storage with high durability and availability. The role involves collaborating with talented engineers to solve challenging customer problems and drive innovation in software development. You will be responsible for coding systems that allow rapid development and meet the fast-paced nature of S3's culture. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Responsibilities
