The Software Development Engineer II position at AWS focuses on building and maintaining complex products that enhance customer experiences and improve performance. The role is part of the Security Token Service team, which is dedicated to creating fault-tolerant systems that operate at scale. • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 4+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 4+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
• Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead

• Own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.

• Research and implement solutions that enhance customer experiences.
