Job description
The Systems Development Engineer II role in the Analytics team focuses on delivering AWS cloud analytics services while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The team is dedicated to innovating scalable solutions and driving automation across AWS regions. Candidates will work closely with demanding customers to address their specific needs and resolve technical issues. This position requires a strong background in Linux, networking, and software development, along with an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification
- 1+ years of experience in designing or architecting systems
- 2+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and operating systems
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum methodology
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java
Responsibilities
- Build innovative solutions and expand services into GovCloud regions.
- Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions within the team.
- Contribute to ticket resolution and infrastructure improvements.
- Lead the resolution of contentious issues through constructive dialogue.
- Develop, build, and operate AWS Agentic AI services.
- Facilitate deep-dive troubleshooting and technical post-mortem discussions.
- Work cross-functionally to harmonize discordant views.
