Job description
This position is for a Systems / DevOps Engineer at Amazon Web Services in Denver, Colorado, focusing on supporting U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies with innovative cloud computing solutions. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- 1+ years of systems administration (Linux/Windows) experience
- Experience working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
- 1+ years of cloud computing technologies experience
- 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience
- 1+ years of support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments experience
- Experience automating routine tasks
Responsibilities
- Own and advance mission critical services in Amazon Dedicated Clouds
- Help U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions
- Address specific needs across a full suite of services for Amazon's largest customers
- Dive deep into technical issues to improve customer experience
- Collaborate with engineers and technical managers to solve unique technical problems
