The Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink (MSF) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to enhance the Apache Flink framework for distributed stream processing. This role focuses on improving the efficiency and availability of the stream processing engine while contributing to open source. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Make improvements to the stream processing engine, Apache Flink.
• Contribute changes to improve the engine back to open source.
