• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of modern programming languages including Rust, Java, and C/C++
• Solid understanding of the Linux operating system
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++ or experience with Machine Learning fundamentals

• Develop embedded software for driving sophisticated mechatronic systems
• Work with multiple components including motor control, networking, security, sensing, and safety
• Contribute to the architecture of complex systems and implement solutions with team members
• Develop solutions that balance performance and maintainability
• Collaborate with hardware teams and vendors to enable new computing hardware and functionality
• Test and debug sophisticated modern robotic systems
• Write automated tests to validate newly created features or conduct live testing to debug issues
