The team collaborates with various departments to align engineering strategies and optimize infrastructure. The ideal candidate will drive data insights and technical solutions while exploring AI and cloud technologies. This position requires a strong analytical foundation and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in an engineering role with a track record of delivering complex initiatives end-to-end.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with compute containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical foundation with proficiency in trending, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud observability tools.

Responsibilities

  • Drive data and insights on planning the strategy for Apple's infrastructure.
  • Research, architect, and implement complex technical solutions across multiple technologies.
  • Define architecture by influencing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Design and deploy scalable, cloud-native architectures with a focus on reliability and fault tolerance.
  • Build and communicate AI-augmented models that inform capacity planning and financial strategy.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
