Job description

Apple's Hardware Technology Engineering Program Management Team is seeking an Engineering New Product Technology Project Manager to oversee NPI build management and material readiness for key technologies. The role involves strategic problem-solving and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and risk analysis. The ideal candidate will manage build matrices, material forecasting, and develop risk mitigation plans. This position requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in supply chain program management including build management and supplier management.
  • Configuration management and Bill of Material (BOM) experience.
  • Proficient in Excel or Numbers and capable of learning new software applications quickly.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong strategic critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive NPI build planning activities and manage build matrices for components and assemblies.
  • Build strategic partnerships with internal and external partners.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans and execute issue resolution.
  • Run material forecasting and planning with key module and component vendors.
  • Analyze risks and implement complex mitigation strategies in support of engineering development builds.
