Job description

The role is for a passionate operations engineer within Apple's Information Systems and Technology group, specifically in the G&A Solutions Engineering team. This team focuses on building integrated technology solutions for Apple's general and administrative functions, ensuring efficiency and security at a global scale. The engineer will work on solving large-scale problems and implementing sophisticated software applications. The position offers the opportunity to improve tooling for large-scale platform solutions and collaborate with teams based in the U.S. and India.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or build/release/deployment automation.
  • Experience creating and implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or Spinnaker.
  • Experience implementing applications in private/public cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP.
  • Ability to program in high-level programming languages or scripting, such as Java, Python, Shell, or Golang.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Experience with integrating GenAI or MCP driven tools into DevOps workflows.
  • Self-driven and motivated with a proven ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver integrated technology solutions for general and administrative functions.
  • Develop custom tools that improve productivity and bring greater automation to G&A operations.
  • Own and improve tooling for large-scale platform solutions.
  • Support and build highly available systems.
  • Collaborate closely with U.S. and India based teams.
  • Expand the capabilities of the team to benefit the wider organization.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
