This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and human-centered design, enhancing the customer experience across various Apple platforms. You will contribute to the development of voice input features and improve user interfaces for iOS and macOS. If you are passionate about voice technology and enjoy collaborative work, this position is for you.

  • Experience developing software for macOS using AppKit and SwiftUI
  • System programming experience with daemons, frameworks, multithreading, and IPC (XPC)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with voice assistant technologies, GenAI, or conversational AI systems

Responsibilities

  • Work with multi-functional teams to drive Voice Input features for new initiatives
  • Develop UI and framework improvements to support existing and new features
  • Ship high-quality software and respond to emerging issues
  • Help develop a vision for the future of the product

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
