Job description
The Cybersecurity Architecture & Governance Director at BCG Federal will lead the technical core of the cybersecurity program, focusing on advanced cybersecurity architecture and regulatory compliance. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to influence direction and articulate risks while managing a team of engineering and technical GRC professionals. The director will oversee the design and validation of security systems to protect company assets in compliance with US Government security requirements. This position is integral to ensuring the security of cloud environments and emerging technologies within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8–10+ years of information security experience.
- Proven track record of leading technical architecture and cloud native security engineering.
- Subject matter expertise in federal security compliance frameworks, specifically NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, CMMC, and DFARS 7012.
- In-depth engineering familiarity with secure CI/CD pipelines and automated scanning configurations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the GRC and technical architecture perspective of the BCG Federal Cybersecurity program.
- Interpret complex regulatory and compliance mandates into actionable technical architectures.
- Manage the enterprise security risk register for technical risks.
- Oversee the design and security configuration of Azure Government Community Cloud and AWS Gov environments.
- Lead the technical security assessment and architectural standards for AI and Generative AI capabilities.
- Direct the integration of automated security testing throughout software development lifecycles.
- Provide expert technical security advisory to product developers and senior business executives.
