Job description

This role focuses on supporting the ETF business development efforts at Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management. The position involves collaboration with sales teams to enhance client engagement and market growth initiatives. The candidate will assist in developing materials related to Defined Outcome strategies and portfolio construction. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in asset management, ETFs, or a related financial services role
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related discipline is required
  • Progress toward CFA or other relevant designation is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Interest in financial markets, investment products, and portfolio construction

Responsibilities

  • Partner with ETF specialists, Innovator Sales, and broader GS sales teams to support distribution efforts across channels
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials, presentations, and market updates related to ETF strategies
  • Support advisor and client inquiries by providing data, analytics, and product information
  • Contribute to portfolio implementation discussions by developing analysis and illustrative use cases for ETF strategies
  • Track sales activity and maintain reporting to help identify opportunities for growth and engagement
  • Participate in team meetings, client calls, and events, providing logistical and analytical support
