Job description
The Entry Level Overhead Transmission Line Engineer will join the Rail & Transit team in Boston, MA, focusing on supporting utility and developer clients in expanding their energy transition portfolio. This role involves developing design deliverables for utility upgrades, including greenfield and brownfield projects. The engineer will work closely with regional and global teams, ensuring adherence to client standards and design guidelines. Strong communication and technical writing skills are essential for success in this collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Familiarity with structure design and foundation design fundamentals.
- Ability to perform field visits and walk-downs as required for client projects.
- Experience with Microsoft suite applications, AutoCAD, and structural design software.
- Ability to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Develop design deliverables for utility upgrades and interconnection facilities.
- Collaborate with the Rail & Transit team to support client projects.
- Understand client standards and design guidelines to prepare project deliverables.
- Provide engineering support for clients during construction.
