This position involves leading a team to apply software engineering principles and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The role emphasizes the integration of advanced technologies such as AI and cloud architecture to enhance operational efficiency. The leader will also be responsible for continuous improvement and strategic direction within the Application Engineering function.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, or finance, or equivalent work experience is required.
• A master's degree is preferred.
• 10-15 years of relevant experience is required.
• Approved technical certification is required.
• Experience leading management-level members and teams of 30+ people is required.

• Oversee the team to ensure software engineering principles are applied to the design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software and systems.
• Contribute to the strategic, financial, and operational direction of the Application Engineering function.
• Work closely with the BTL and Product Management to define and execute the product and portfolio roadmap.
• Lead the execution of the technology strategy within the portfolio, including AI and cloud architecture.
• Assess current departmental capability and maturity, and develop a continuous-improvement roadmap.
