Job description

The Software Test Automation Engineer will be part of a diverse and passionate team focused on enhancing health applications while ensuring data safety and privacy. This role involves qualifying critical software and frameworks throughout the development process. The engineer will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and QA to deliver a robust health software ecosystem. A strong emphasis is placed on creativity, problem-solving, and effective communication within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in automated Software Quality Assurance
  • Proficient programming knowledge in Swift, Objective-C, or similar architected language
  • Strong object-oriented programming and software design skills
  • Experience writing production-ready automated UI and non-UI tests
  • Previous work with regulated medical devices
  • Experience with Xcode, Xcode Cloud, and XCTest/XCUITest
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Health experience is customer-focused and rock-solid
  • Qualify critical software and frameworks during all stages of development
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and medical experts to refine features
  • Develop, extend, and maintain test plans, methodologies, and automation libraries
  • Proactively triage, investigate, and debug technical and UX problems
  • Contribute to the advancement of Apple’s health software ecosystem
