Job description
This role is for a Circuits Engineer within a silicon design group focused on creating advanced custom digital megacells for high performance and low power SOCs. The position involves collaborating with various teams to address critical design issues and contribute to the rapid development of functional products. Engineers will apply their knowledge of device physics and circuit design to innovate and debug cutting-edge technologies. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE).
- Experience in designing low voltage and low power custom circuits.
- Deep understanding of deep submicron device physics and leakage mechanisms.
- Solid understanding of device matching and noise sources affecting high precision circuits.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl and CAD automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and debug advanced custom digital megacells including SRAM memories and ML accelerators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address critical impact issues in chip design.
- Conduct experiments during silicon debug and analyze data to support design improvements.
- Utilize scripting to efficiently handle and analyze debug data.
- Apply engineering fundamentals to turn imaginative ideas into practical solutions.
