Job description
The role of a PCBA Design for Manufacturing Engineer at Apple involves collaborating with various teams to bridge the gap between innovative design and mass production. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in PCBA, electronic assembly, or a related field.
- Demonstrated creativity and intellectual curiosity in materials science and electronics packaging.
- Robust understanding of engineering fundamentals, including material science and thermodynamics.
- Proficiency with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product Design, Electrical Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Develop and productize challenging consumer PCBA designs.
- Conduct advanced tolerance analysis for PCBA and equipment design.
- Lead root cause and failure analysis investigations using advanced analytical techniques.
- Utilize internal LLM based tools for automating workflows and decision making.
