Job description
As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will lead the electrical design of consumer electronic products in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to innovate and integrate various technologies into products. Your role will involve overseeing the entire hardware design process, from concept to production, while ensuring high standards of quality and performance. You will also engage with external partners and support engineering builds, gaining valuable experience in high volume manufacturing.
Requirements
- MSEE with at least 7 years of experience or BSEE with at least 10 years of experience in consumer product design.
- At least 4 years of experience leading and working with ODM/OEMs for all stages of product development.
- At least 7 years of experience with system-level design including circuit design, system bring-up, integration, and debug.
- Complex system design experience, including SoC, high-speed bus topologies, and/or high speed design principles.
- Knowledge of low-power circuit design, DC/DC converters, power management methods, audio circuit design, and analog design.
- Knowledge of processor architecture, digital circuit design, and various communications protocols.
- Experience developing robust designs for ESD/EMI immunities and RF de-sensitization.
- Experience integrating RF technologies such as WIFI, BT, GPS, etc.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of multiple technologies in the product as a system EE lead.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional hardware, software, and mechanical teams.
- Debug design and manufacturing issues related to hardware.
- Design and validate circuit boards.
- Drive system performance validation.
- Travel internationally to support engineering builds if needed.
