This role involves joining the Siri organization to enhance one of the world's leading AI assistants. The focus is on building multimodal models that power Siri's on-device speech features and audio experiences across various Apple platforms. The team is dedicated to creating a reliable and observable system for foundation model training, requiring close collaboration with product and research teams. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning Operations.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with proficiency in Python and Bash.
- Production experience with cloud ML platforms such as GCP TPU or AWS GPU clusters.
- Familiarity with the ML training lifecycle including data preprocessing and distributed training.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Turn the operational substrate underneath foundation model training into a reliable and self-serve system.
- Collaborate with researchers, product, and infrastructure teams to enable effective model training.
- Design and implement internal CLI tools and cloud platform integrations.
- Ensure observability and reliability in the production automation processes.
- Simplify onboarding and access provisioning for team members.
