The Staff Software Engineer for the Search Agentic Ecosystem Platform at Google will play a pivotal role in transforming Google's AI capabilities. This position focuses on architecting core infrastructure for Agentic Integrations and enhancing the overall search experience. The engineer will work within the Agentic Ecosystem team to develop a platform that connects advanced AI models to external systems. This role requires collaboration across various product areas to ensure high-quality user experiences.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure, including model deployment and evaluation.
• Experience with Agentic integrations and Model Context Protocol.

• Architect the core infrastructure for Agentic Integrations, focusing on MCP Servers.
• Build domain-specific use cases atop generalist models, assisting vertical teams in onboarding.
• Ensure integrations are surface-agnostic across AI Mode, Gemini, and Geo.
• Act as a Technical Lead, providing mentorship and leadership to a global engineering team.
