• Master’s degree in structural engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• 5 to 10 years of working experience as a structural engineer, primarily engaged in structural design activities
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Skilled in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, STAAD, and spColumn
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying structural engineering codes and standards such as ACI-318 and AASHTO LRFD

• Work mostly independently with some support from experienced tunnel-structural engineers
• Maintain effective communications with the engineering team and clients
• Perform calculations to design excavation support and linings and shoring systems
• Prepare design drawings and assist in specifications preparation
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to present findings and recommendations
• Review contractor construction submittals
• Observe and report on construction activities and ground conditions during construction
• Perform field investigations as needed by the project
