Job description
The Product Consumer Insights team at Netflix is seeking a Researcher to support the Commerce team by understanding consumer perceptions and norms that influence business strategies. This role involves leading innovative research that has a global impact, focusing on themes such as consumer value, willingness to pay, and industry trends. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and inclusive experiences. This position offers the opportunity to synthesize data from various sources to generate actionable insights for the company.
Requirements
- Experience in product research, market research, and/or analytics, including leading end-to-end quantitative research studies.
- Proficiency in SQL and R for data querying, wrangling, analysis, and modeling.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to collaboration across multiple teams.
- An advanced degree in psychology, social sciences, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience or interest in growth research.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and socialize research that generates insights to inform global growth strategy.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources to craft clear insights with strategic business impact.
- Proactively partner with other CI researchers and cross-functional partners to develop new research initiatives.
- Identify best practices in existing and emerging research methodologies.
