The Silicon Hardware Emulation Engineer at Google Cloud will focus on shaping the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration, specifically working with TPU technology. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of industry experience with RTL design and simulation.
- Experience with coding or scripting in C, C++, Perl, TCL, or Python.
- Experience with emulation systems, compilation, debugging, and performance enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Help own, maintain, and upgrade the emulation infrastructure and act as a primary interface to emulation vendors.
- Explore emulation methodologies and implement new workflows based on team feedback.
- Support team members in debugging hardware, tooling, and project-specific issues.
- Bring up external interfaces on emulation platforms and create standalone test cases for tool issues.
